How many times in Qur’an is يسألونك mentioned?

The word (يسألونك) is mentioned (9) times in the Holy Quran. It means ‘ They ask you’.

And the word (وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ) is mentioned (6) times in the Holy Quran. It means ‘And they ask you’.

In total both words are used fifteen times in the Holy Quran.

1. Chapter 2 Al- Baqara verse 189. (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) (They ask you, about the new moons).
2. Chapter 2 Al-Baqara verse 215. (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) (They ask you, What they should spend).
3. Chapter 2 Al-Baqara verse 217. (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) ( They ask you, about the sacred month).
4. Chapter 2 Al-Baqara verse 219. In this verse both ( يَسْأَلُونَكَ and وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ) are used. (They ask you about intoxicants and gambling. (And they ask you what they should spend).
5. Chapter 2 Al- Baqara verse 220. (وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ) (To this world and the hereafter. And they ask you about orphans).
6. Chapter 2 Al- Baqara verse 222. (وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ) ( And they ask you about menstruation).
7. Chapter 5 Al-Ma’ida verse 4. (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) ( They ask you, what has been made lawful for them).
8. Chapter 7 Al-A’raf verse 187. ( يَسْأَلُونَكَ) used twice in this verse. ( They ask you, about the Hour: when is its arrival). ( They ask you as if you are familiar with it).
9. Chapter 8 Al-Anfal verse 1. (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) (They ask you, about the bounties (of war).
10. Chapter 17 Al-Isra verse 85. (وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ) ( And they ask you, about the soul).
11. Chapter 18 Al-Kahf verse 83. (وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ) (And they ask you, about Dhul-Qarnayn). (ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ).
12. Chapter 20 Ta-Ha verse 105. (وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ (And they ask you about the mountains).
13. Chapter 79 An-Nazi’at verse 42. (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) (They ask you, about the hour: when is its arrival).
14. All the questions people (companions) asked Muhammed (Rasool Allah) during his twenty-three years of Prophet hood are mentioned in the Holy Quran. These questions were asked to the Messenger of Allah but the replies came from Allah (SWT). Allah (SWT) has preserved these questions and their answers in the Holy Quran till the day of judgment. From the beginning of the revelation of the Holy Quran to its completion, people (companions) asked a total of fifteen questions to the Messenger of Allah. The Holy Book (Quran) suffices for it.
